The 44th Symposium on UltraSonic Electronics

Welcome to USE2023

This Symposium on Ultrasonic Electronics (USE) was first held in December 1980 to bring together experts from diverse fields of ultrasonics, including both fundamental and applied topics. Since then, innovations in ultrasonics have been presented and discussed at this symposium. The symposium consists of single-session oral presentations and poster presentations. The symposium has accepted presentations in English from all over the world since 2004, and one of the three meeting days is reserved for fully International Session.

Moreover, all posters have been presented in English since 2006. Over 250 papers and 400 participants are expected, including a plenary talk by the distinguished lecturer of IEEE UFFC. Authors of presented papers are eligible to submit regular paper or brief note to a Special Issue on Ultrasonic Electronics in the Japanese Journal of Applied Physics (JJAP) which is an international journal for the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in all fields of applied physics.

The Young Scientist Awards will be selected from presenters at the symposium, and the Best Paper Awards will be selected from the papers published in the Special Issue. USE2023 will be held from November 13 to 15, 2023 at Toyama International Conference Center, Toyama, Japan. We welcome you to USE2023, and hope that you will enjoy a fruitful conference and pleasant stay in Toyama surrounded by the beautiful nature of the sea and mountains.
